Tulika has more than 20 years of research and field experience in gender equality, gender mainstreaming and gender-based violence, particularly domestic violence, sexual harassment in the workplace and primary prevention of violence against women.

Prior to joining YWCA Canberra in 2019, Tulika worked at Brisbane Domestic Violence Services, Micah Projects Inc as a domestic violence specialist and has international experience in training, facilitation, program design, service delivery and academic roles.

Merrindahl has 20 years of experience in policy advocacy, research and capacity-building. Her work is focused on gender equality, sexual and gender-based violence, and community organising for social change.
Prior to joining YWCA Canberra in 2020, Merrindahl managed Australian Women Against Violence Alliance, a national alliance of organisations working to end all forms of violence against women. She has experience delivering training on violence prevention and supporting young people to have safe and healthy relationships.

Ciára brings a decade of youth engagement and community development experience to their role as Youth Programs Team Leader and Training Consultant at YWCA Canberra. Ciára has extensive experience working with sexuality and gender diverse people and delivering innovative educational programs in schools in the ACT.
Ciára has led YWCA Canberra’s LGBTQIA+ Allies Prom since 2015, an opportunity for young people to experience a formal style event and express their identity in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment.

Daisy comes from a family of teachers and professors, so when she chose education as a career path at a young age it was no surprise.
Daisy has worked as a Primary School Principal and Teacher in Pakistan and continued her career in Australia as an early childhood Director and Trainer and Assessor.
One of Daisy’s key strengths is her ability to empower students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and create an inclusive, vibrant and supportive learning experience.

Originally from country NSW, Amelia is both a trainer and assessor in early childhood education and care and an Assistant Manager in our early childhood services team.
Amelia has worked in early childhood education and care for nine years with children ranging from birth to school age. Commencing her career as a trainee, Amelia has worked as a room leader, education leader, assistant manager and early childhood teacher.
Amelia loves being active by going to the gym or walking her dog, reading and travelling. Her favourite country that she has travelled to is Morocco.

Mariah started out studying her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care as part of her Higher School Certificate, she realised at an early age she had a passion for working with and being an advocate for children, this prompted Mariah to complete my Diploma once finishing school.
Throughout her six years in the sector, Mariah has worked in all types of services including running play groups aimed at supporting young Aboriginal mothers, long day care services and school age care services. She has worked in various roles within a service, most recently as an assistant director where she shared her knowledge and passion with others.
Mariah enjoyed collaborating with other educators so decided to complete Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in order to become a trainer and assessor of Early Childhood Education and Care.

Vicki leads our education and training unit and has over nine years’ experience in vocational education and training in the not-for-profit sector.
Vicki commenced her career as a hair dresser and since joining YWCA Canberra has mastered a range of diverse roles including finance administration, program coordination, and now leads our team of trainers and assessors.
When she isn’t managing the team, responding to student enquiries, or supporting our reporting and compliance processes, Vicki can be found in her garden or running half marathons.

Daniel has more than 15 years’ experience working in registered training organisations (RTOs) in Australia and New Zealand in a range of compliance, management, administration and training and assessment roles.
As Quality and Compliance Officer, Daniel ensures we maintain a high quality of delivery and compliance according to the VET Quality Framework, Australian Skills Quality Authority, ACT VET Standards and relevant legislative requirements.

Annie has worked with children and young people in educational and social emotional support roles for almost 10 years. She joins the team with a diverse range of qualifications and a passion for feminism and intersectional diversity, reconciliation, and sexuality, gender, and body diverse rights.
Annie is the Coordinator for the She Leads Diploma of Leadership and Management, which provides female-identifying and non-binary people with the opportunity to gain the best-practice skills, theoretical knowledge, and networks to accelerate their leadership journey.
When Annie isn’t supporting students and connecting with diverse local leaders, she is off gallivanting at weddings as a Marriage Celebrant.
