Do you want a career helping the next generation develop and grow? Are you looking to improve your skills working with school age children? Or are you looking for a rewarding part-time or casual job?
The Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care (CHC40113) prepares you to work with school age children as educators in outside school hours care and vacation programs.
As an educator, you will support the implementation of an approved learning framework, could work under direct supervision or autonomously, and may have responsibility to supervise volunteers or other staff.
Once you’ve completed a Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care, you could also graduate with a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care by doing just one more module. When you get both qualifications, it expands your career options, enabling you to work with babies and toddlers in early childhood services as well as with school age children.
